Val Gardena also in 2010 with nice bike offerLast year, the Transalp made a guest stop in S. Christina, right in the heart of the Val Gardena. At its debut as stage town the small municipality impressed with its inherent natural beauty. Surrounded by the Geisler group in the North and the Langkofel group in the South, bike fans benefitted from the nice area. Altitude world record holder to start at this year’s TransalpAndré Hauschke has completed the impossible mission: sitting firmly in the saddle of his mountain bike, the Euskirchen resident pedalled up to the height altitudes of the Chilean Ojos del Salado volcano (6,893m), up to a possible maximum of 6,085 metres. In addition and due to the expected massive traffic on our server no one will receive a confirmation until 4 PM (CET). Thereafter, all applicants will be informed if they have a team entry or not! Attached some brief information about the procedure. On Sunday, December 6th, 2009, all mountain bikers who are keen to race the 2010 Transalp can register online from 12 PM on. You will find a link where all needed information on both team riders have to be filled in a mask and finally send to the organisers. As we expect a high interest in the available spots like in the last years, we suggest registering your team as soon as possible after the registration opened in order to get one of the coveted spots.
