The kind of the accommodation has crucial influence on the success of the race.

The places of the Transalp-Camp are limited. Hotels offer a high comfort but a low individuality. An RV is a economical accommodation links with a high sleeping and sanitary comfort. Often, the hotels are very far away from the Finish-/Startingarea, so that transfer needs a plenty of time to get there!

Beyond that you have the possibility to carry sparebikes and -parts. A further advantage is the possibility of the self food supply. You are not bound to the official foodplan and -times.

You can also carry rather clothes, as it would permit the volume of the Transalp-Bags. These and still many other reasons let an RV become an excellent companion for the Transalp!
